Envy and anger are deadly combinations
My colleague has a
free ticket to Darwin and I'm jealous.
She's being flown there for a party. How cool is that can?
Sigh. She gets all the good lobangs while I end up with crap.
Like the pile Singnet recently dished onto me.
I signed my contract with them like 2 years ago..back when broadband prices were astronomical. Anyway, my contract recently expired and instead of reverting to the default current market price of $47.25, they persisted to charge me $75 per month.
And they refused to revise the price unless I did a recontract.
I was told point blank that I would continue to pay the outdated and ridiculously overprice rate if I chose not to renew my contract.
If i wanted to terminate, I would have to give them 1 month notice. Which also meant that I had to pay $75 monthly fee.
If I wanted to terminate with immediate effect, I would have to pay a processing fee of $40.
I am so angry. And I can't understand why doesn't the system automatically reflect the current market price? I'd get it if I were tied down by a contract and bound to pay a certain amount. But when there is no contract, this logic is just pure nonsense.
So people, pls check your singnet bills.
You may be ridiculously overcharged and not know it. According to the CS officer, there are some people still pay $80+ for their 512Kbps broadband.
I've since terminated my service with the
dishonest and disgusting people at Singtel. You guys should too...
No. 1 customer service, my ass!
