Hi!

I was just browsing through a friend's blog and realised suddenly that I hardly knew her at all. Well...perhaps I only knew her public persona for all these years...
Its actually pretty interesting what you can find out about a person just by reading their blogs. Some of the nicest people habour some of the most nasty thoughts. It was a real eye opener for me to understand the various...shall I say... bitchy facets of her character as i browsed through her blog. I can't decide whether she's serious and means everything she says in her blog...or is the blog a mere outlet for her frustration. Regardless of either, I think she is making (and has made) a grave mistake of lambasting her superiors publicly online. I just think that many people are under the impression that a blog is just a blog. Well...yes...in a way...but then again, when nothing is every deleted in this time and age, is it really wise to leave a trail of gossip and bitchbite in your wake?? Why...all it'll take is for someone to post the link to her immediate superior's email and she'd be fired on the spot! Now...what good would that do? I imagine, that in self-defense, she would say something like " I never liked that job anyway..." but sometimes, it's good to be contented with what you have.
I dunno...when I read her blog, I just couldn't help but be totally overwhelmed by her self-righteousness! It was as if the whole world owed her something and that any opinion that contradicted hers or if her (may i be liberal and use the word) "victim's" train of thought was slower or didn't match hers, it would be a capital offence. I mean, seriously, the more I read her blog, the more I decided I didn't like her. Which is weird...because in real life, she appears as this angelic, do and think no evil girl! In reality, I actually do quite like her. I guess what I find unfair about the whole thing is a blog is basically a one-sided affair. It's ALL your story...you can tell it any way you want to. I suppose im just struck by how lacking my friend's defence for her "victims" were. She never paused to consider or seriously analyse the situation from anyone else's perspective except her own. Well....humans are amazing creatures!
For me, every thought I think shows up on my face. Whether I am pissed, happy, angry, irritated..whatever! It just shows right up on my face. Can't decide if its a good thing. Good and bad I suppose... I mean, it does make me a better person...considering I can't be hypocritical (okay....not for long at least) and pretend that everything is fine when it isn't. Also, I think I have more genuine friends...well....at least I think so! Haha! On the other hand, not having a poker face means that everyone can read me like a book! And can cheat me! Sigh....
