sentosa

Decided to go support Boon who was taking part in a salsa competition at palawan beach on Sunday.

And because zz was such a loyal dog (i was sick earlier in the day and had to puke into the toilet bowl. Zsazsa was pawing the door and yelping frantically outside the loo in worry.), i decided that i would not stinge on the cab fare and brave the taxi uncle and bring her along.

The whole trip was quite eventful...and extremely hilarious to say the least.

It began with me trying to stuff her into my bag under my block so that the taxi uncle would think that zz was this small harmless little dog and let me get on his cab..But i forgot zz grows exponentially and can no longer fit into my bag.

So i had to abandon the idea and content myself with letting her wait beside me by the road.

Luckily, a taxi came and we managed to get on...no questions asked. Wow.

Anyway, upon reaching Habourfront (and parting with like S$19!!! *heart pain*) and meeting Mich & Nigel, we had to shelve our plans to hitching a cab into the island. We decided to take the bus instead.

For the unintiated, dogs are only allowed into Sentosa if they are:

1. in a car*
2. walk across the bridge

*A bus is not considered a car.

Fortunately, Nigel was gg to book in that night and so was carrying this really gigantic sling bag. It was this huge bag that into which we promptly and rather unceremoniously dumped zz into.

She wasn't happy at all.
She was really quite annoyed because the bag had to be zipped up (cuz she kept trying to escape), And as you can imagine, it was quite stuffy and hot inside the bag. The shot was taken after she finally managed to burst free..

Yes, Zsa zsa has learnt how to open a zipped bag from the inside:

Step 1: Struggle like crazy and then suddenly stop as if u have fainted
Step 2:
Find a small hole/opening at the zip and breathe frantically from it...as if u can't get any air on the inside.
Step 3: Make ur owner worry and thus open the zip a little to check on you.
Step 4: Seize the chance and stick your snout through the little gap and out into the open, all the while, skirming vigourously.
Step 5: Break free by wiggling violently and give the pathetic "i-am-so-sick-of-living-in-a-bag" face.

Anyhow, upon reaching sentosa...she had a field day running on the sand..and getting to know other dogs.

Zsa zsa was asked also asked if she'd like to salsa by the principle instructor at Attitude studio, Gupson. Hahaha...it was quite funny because she was looking so intently at the people dancing...as if she wanted to join in as well.

No silly, of course she declined the dance. She ran back and hid behind my legs, that coward.

All in all, it was a pretty good day.

Would i do it again?

Yes, absolutely.
Except I'd definitely drive myself there the next time round.
