Well....
I have actually wanted to ignore the comments as posted but I felt hard done if I am not to contribute to the opinions as answered to my previous post.
There are a few things I have to sort out here considering the level of maturity and the amount of exposure most of the viewers here had and stood by.
For moments, I thought about the nursery, where kids roam happily, ignoring the troubles and repercussions that await them should they fall badly. The sad and good part here is that there is a “guardian” in the nursery to help pick the kid up, smothering and pampering him/her. Unlike to the contrary, this kind of operant conditioning only made the kid go out into the real world with elusive concepts, unbecoming, asking more and presuming everything is as the well the “teacher” said.
To say, there is a certain amount of truth out there. Kids must be taught and learned, that it is the society that proposes a certain outlook in any given situation. Although there could be unhappiness and unacceptances, this rule of power play is necessary because what happens if the society is ran by like-minded kids?
My muffin said:
1) Firstly, I’ll agree that love is conditional...women are especially practical in Singapore where everything is overpriced and most people are underpaid. However, i just cannot agree with the high-handed moralizing tone and sweeping statements that were employed in the post.
My answer:
Refer to the nursery segment. I represent the unjust and rude society greeting the kids once they “graduated”.

2) Second, it's a natural progression that if you have low expectations, your expectations will be more easily met. In saying this, by requesting that "women were more lenient [to men]", would it not be tantamount to saying that the standard of Singaporean men are low so Singaporean women should lower their expectations so they can find a partner??? I don't think Singaporean men suck. But I do think that Singaporeans in general are rather narrow-minded, petty and penny-pinching. I simply abhor the kiasu mentality.
My answer:
Like I have mentioned… Read the last paragraph before my address to my muffin. The general ruling in Singapore has made male Singaporean sit up and think about their futures. They never had been narrow- minded, petty or penny pinching to a certain extend. There is generally a concept of “harvesting” so as to cater to themselves shall the opposite sex decides to play dirty. Did I mention the women’s charter as to robbing men of their hard earned money? If women were that all capable, why not earn your own keep other than asking for compensations? Isn’t this also a kind of kiasu mentality? “I must have a share, I would lugi mah!” You would have from other alternatives and judging from the amount of male sufferers from the eluded “WC”, women are known not only to play dirty when the situation allows but also be really ruthless about it.
This is hilarious…let me put it this way…”I want to share the pie with the men, but I need the men to change my soiled diapers!”. My favourite quote of all times, “We want equality but 1st the men must carry out handbags.” ABSOLUTE JOKE. A woman never amuses me to act smart yet be stupid at the same time. This kind of pure entertainment is only obtainable from a certain group deprived species, which is the lesser gender, females.

3) The only reason why men don't want women to move forward is because they feel threatened. And you only will feel threatened if something instigates fear in you. So this brings us to the question of why men feel threatened. I guess the answer is obvious...they have finally (and only after thousands of years, and that's really slow if u ask me) come to the realisation that... women are not the dumb bitches they thought they were and are capable of much more apart from reproduction.
My answer:
Men have never felt more threatened than before, yes. For once I agree. But I am also glad to say there is always the magical word even wonderwoman would have trouble defeating. That word is: SUPPRESSION.
Although there are organisations accepting and taking in females. I am rather contended to be announcing that most female gender were only given a suppressive role in the society, in simpler meanings, a role in supporting the major successful workhorse, the males. Although there are females in the society making stands and successfully obtaining their audiences, I also pleased to say that this is just a minority which has not caused extensive threats and dangers to an otherwise fair social standing system where the men have led since day one.
There have been so many successful male leaders. I’ll name a few in hand: Hitler, Genghis khan, Napoleon, Martin Luther and even our very own honorable Mr. Lee. How would the world and society react if we were to put say, Oprah Whitney in charge? Generally PMS created decisions where I would think if given the chance, women will want to skin men for depriving them of opportunities for centuries. I have only 2 words to say, “TRY HARDER”.
There are certain differentiations as to dreams and reality.
Women dreamed to be in power and be on the same social path as the men. This is a dream. Men are still holding onto powers and what happens if a country is to be handed by a female? Think Philippines. This is the reality.
Women attributed men that they couldn’t compare and complete with them and have requested them to “stoop lower” so the men can reach them. This is a dream. Men nowadays have so many varieties to choose from and they aren’t afraid to show their worth. Singaporean Man to Singaporean Girl: “Although I know you are not the best among all here, I would appreciate you come down please. Okay, okay, you’re better, so please behaving like a kid”. This is the reality. Some men just want you to be natural and not be a brat, showing your million dollar puss** and proclaiming I deserved better? How would someone trear you fairly if you were to be in an aggressive stance firstly? Why blame the guy when something goes wrong? There are good guys too. This is reality.
Women have said the reason why men don't want women to move forward is because they feel threatened. And you only will feel threatened if something instigates fear in you. This is a dream. Men never wanted women to be left behind, in fact opportunities have been aplenty given but the only onus is the failure of the female gender to perform when on the public stage. Instead, views can be made this way, women feared men because they felt threatened because of the social and economical standing a male has and thus would further degenerate the female gender. Of course, sanctions and suppressions have to be made as females are capable of conjuring something so out of this world during days where it became “unreasonable” to dispute. Quote my muffin: You only feel threatened if something instigates fear in you.” The view is considered here rather as 2 way traffic and this is the reality.
To conclude, I have to agree with my muffin that the female gender is worth some time in the busy schedules of alpha males for consideration in regards to their active participation in all matters.
To sum up:
1) Women must try harder.
2) Women must learn how successful men have become and first take on an apprentice role. Learn the ropes and be ready in 100 years time.
3) Women must learn to generate equality as they proposed. The law has been fair to them considering their “Handicap”.
4) Women must not presume that all males are crooks. Male have been taught to survive in the harshest environments and they thrive in it (except for androgynous males or any other form of “Halflings”). That form of practice made men even stronger and it is these trainings that men are able to lead under no advantageous position.
5) Men meant well although sometimes expletives are used in situations.
6) That one fine day, men would want to kick back and enjoy their lives, preferring to designate and teach the female gender on their various skills and expertise.
7) That Men too, loved their women.
I personally give my utmost support to the female movement. You go! JIA YOU!!!!
