murphy's law

Guess what my dad bought me and my mom? Pepper spray. Amazing. And you would think that he should have bought this for me a few years back...when i was much younger, much more stupid and alot more naive. But oh well...

Anyhow, I was just doing some thinking and i have sort of come to the conclusion that murphy's law really exists. The more you want something, the less likely you are going to get it.

Like my job for instance. I spent a grand total of 2 weeks of active searching and nothing, and i mean zilch, turned up. Everything that came along just doesn't seem right. And then, when i decided that i had just about enough and take whatever that comes along, BANG! I get the job.

I bet Murphy must have been some real smart dude...cuz this applies to relationships too. When you are attached or plain not interested, you are suddenly like the flame that attracts way too many moths. And mind you, these are moths you are talking about. Not butterflies.

Wonder why is that? Is that why all the single people are still single? Becuz they have to be attached first to attract the correct kind of person they want?
