Is it lust or love?
I've been wondering, do 2 people stay together because they truly love each other or because they have gotten used to each other (companionship)? Recent encounters have really made me question this.
I know of this couple who've been dating for a few years now and
appear to be, as they say,
hopelessly devoted to each other. Yet surprisingly, I found out that the guy is far from devoted (cuz he is shamelessly two-timing his gf) as compared to the girl (she hopes to get married). What is interesting is that while such contradictory views exist, the girl is none the wiser that her feelings may not be exactly 100% reciprocrated. I can't decide if she is merely ignoring the tell-tale signs of a souring relationship cuz she's too self-contained or is it because she just trusts him so much since their relationship has been quite long-standing.
Either way, it's bad.
Maybe guys, as they say, really do not associate emotions with sex. Which is really quite sad. Or more rightly. ..
animalistic. I am sorta arriving at the conclusion that guys can say and do anything just to get into a girl's pants. I'm starting to think that perhaps it'd be better to keep men on a leash. But really, that doesn't solve anything, does it? So don't worry, I haven't had a change of heart...yet. :D
Well, what if you feel 100% for this guy emotionally, but are turned on 100% by this other person? So..
which is worse? Cheating emotionally (you have feelings for someone but don't do anything) or cheating sexually (you just love his/her ass!)? Or are they both equally bad?
Hmm...
p/s: I do miss u Ru. :D Gotta keep our lunch engagement!!!
